"Real" Madrid club has always been known as the buyer of the most famous and best players, but the "whites" are not those who only buy and do not nurture future football stars.
The "CIES Football Observatory" conducted a study which found that the Real Madrid academy is the most productive in the entire Old Continent. There are 41 players nurtured by Real Madrid club playing in the five strongest European leagues.
Seven out of the 41 players in the list currently wear the Real Madrid jersey. They are Kiko Casilla, Ruben Yanez, Dani Carvajal, Nacho, Lucas Vazquez, Alvaro Morata, and Mariano Diaz. It is not yet clear if Brazilian Casemiro, who started his career in Europe with the second Real Madrid team, was included in this list.
In second place is the famous "La Masia" academy owner, Barcelona. There are 37 players from the Barcelona academy playing in the strongest European leagues, with seven of them still in the main team.
In third place is the Manchester United club, which has six academy products in the main team, while the remaining 28 play for other clubs.
