"Real" and Adidas approach a record-breaking contract agreement

The „Real“ team from Madrid should soon sign a record sponsorship deal with Adidas to improve the previous deal with „Manchester United“, which has been the largest in football until now. According to Marca, „Real“ could receive up to 140 million euros per year, with a ten-year contract with the club. This means that the Madrid team would receive a total of 1.4 billion euros over the course of a decade, which is 40% more than the current record-breaking 750 million pound sponsorship deal that „Manchester United“ receives over ten years. By the way, „United“ also has a deal with Adidas, similar to the third-highest earner of apparel sponsorship contracts, „Bayern“, which receives 60 million euros per year. Other apparel manufacturers do not deal with such large sums - The Mirror states that other teams with sponsors such as „Paris Saint-Germain“, „Arsenal“, „Liverpool“, and „Barcelona“ together receive less than what „Real“ will receive from the new sponsorship deal. The new „Real“ sponsorship deal should be signed by the end of this season.
