On Tuesday, two more participants of the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals were revealed. Among the eight strongest teams in Europe, Madrid's "Real" club confidently advanced by defeating "Atalanta" 3-1 at home, winning the series with an aggregate score of 4-1. The hosts scored the first goal in the 34th minute through Karim Benzema. Sergio Ramos scored from the penalty spot in the 60th minute, leaving little hope for the "Atalanta" team. The visitors reduced their deficit in the 83rd minute after a great goal by Luis Muriel, but just minutes later, Marco Asensio restored "Real's" two-goal advantage.
In the other match, "Manchester City" defeated "Monchengladbach" 2-0 at home for the second time with identical results. Both goals came in the early minutes: Kevin De Bruyne scored a stunning goal in the 12th minute, while Ilkay Gundogan found the back of the net in the 18th minute.
