Madrid's "Real" team was hit by injuries - the "white" team might have to finish 2019 without two key players.
On Thursday afternoon, "Real" issued statements that did not please the team's fans - E. Hazard was diagnosed with a minor ankle fracture after repeated tests, and Marcelo suffered a muscle injury.
Both footballers will be forced to miss the upcoming "El Clasico" match in Barcelona in two weeks.
E. Hazard suffered his ankle injury in a match against PSG, when he was injured by Thomas Meunier. Initially, it was thought that the injury was not serious and the Belgian would only need 10 days, but the player still cannot walk without crutches. It is likely that he will return to the lineup only after 6-8 weeks.
Marcelo, in turn, will not play for three to four weeks due to his injury.
In December, Madrid's "Real" team will also face matches against "Valencia" and Bilbao's "Athletic", and immediately after the New Year, the semifinals of the Spanish Super Cup will take place.
