The Madrid "Real" team has confirmed that the world's most expensive footballer Gareth Bale has injured the club and it is unclear whether he will be able to play in the UEFA Champions League match against "Liverpool" and the weekend "El Clasico".
Bale already missed Saturday's match against Valencia's "Levante", and now there is a threat that the winger may not be able to play for a longer time.
According to the club's statement, Bale suffered a "right calf muscle" injury.
The former London "Tottenham" player quickly became a key figure in Madrid upon his arrival. Last season, the Welsh international scored 22 goals in 44 matches, and this year he has five goals so far.
Real manager Carlo Ancelotti will likely choose Isco to replace Bale in the upcoming matches.
