Goal.com reports that Madrid's "Real" club is interested in the possibility of acquiring "Manchester United" forward Robin van Persie.
The Spanish capital team has been discussing the fate of another forward, Javier Hernandez, who is currently on loan from the English side. Although "Man United" would like to sell the Mexican, it is unlikely that he will stay in Madrid.
This has prompted talks that "Real" will indeed look for a replacement for him, as they would be left with only Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo in the attacking line. This is where van Persie's candidacy emerged.
The Dutchman scored 10 goals in over 25 matches this season and certainly did not become the main sniper for "Man United," as expected when Louis van Gaal took over the team.
Furthermore, van Persie's contract is only valid until the summer of 2016, and the "Red Devils" would likely agree to release him, as his annual salary is 16.5 million euros.
