On Saturday afternoon in Madrid, "Real" defeated the stubbornly fighting "Elche" footballers with a score of 2:1. The first goal of the match came in the 22nd minute, when after a mistake by the hosts, "Real" went on a quick counterattack and Vinicius Junior scored with a shot into the far corner of the opponent's goal. However, the "Elche" footballers themselves had several great opportunities in the first half but failed to convert them. In the 63rd minute, the home team's goalkeeper Raul Guti received a red card. Madrid's "Real" took advantage of the numerical superiority and in the 73rd minute, Vinicius Junior doubled the lead with a technical shot. However, the "Elche" footballers managed to narrow the gap, as Pere Milla scored a goal in the 86th minute. After this victory, Madrid's "Real" climbs to the top position in the "La Liga" standings.
