On Wednesday, two more UEFA Champions League quarter-final matches were played. Madrid's "Real" defeated "Atalanta" with a minimal score of 1:0. The hosts were left to play with ten men starting from the 17th minute, when Remo Freuler was shown a red card for denying the last man an obvious goal-scoring opportunity. "Real" struggled for a long time to break down the ten men of their opponents, but in the 86th minute, Ferland Mendy scored the only and winning goal of the match.
In the other match, "Manchester City" won 2:0 against "Monchengladbach" away from home. Bernardo Silva put the English club ahead in the 29th minute. "City" secured the victory in the 65th minute with a goal from Gabriel Jesus.
