Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the suspended Spanish "La Liga" championships will resume on June 11, and the schedule for the remaining part of the season has already been clarified. All matches will be played behind closed doors, and Real Madrid president Florentino Perez revealed that the royal club will play the remaining "La Liga" home matches not at the "Santiago Bernabeu" stadium, but at the youth team's stadium. This decision was made in order to expedite renovation works at the "Santiago Bernabeu" stadium, the completion of which was planned for the summer of 2022, but now this project may be finished earlier. "We have decided to play the remaining 'La Liga' home matches at the 'Alfredo Di Stefano' stadium. This decision will allow us to expedite the renovation of the 'Santiago Bernabeu'," wrote F. Perez in his letter. Real will ensure that the 'Alfredo Di Stefano' stadium is equipped with a proper lighting system and new spaces for advertising. VAR technology will also be implemented. The next matches for the Real team will take place on June 14, when they will host Eibar at home.
