On Saturday, the UEFA Champions League triumph obtained by Real Madrid already signals what positions need to be strengthened this summer.
After the Champions League final, two unexpected news emerged - Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale hinted at leaving. Both players are stars of the team, but it is almost certain that Florentino Perez will not allow both of them to leave through the transfer window.
However, if at least one of them ends up leaving, F. Perez is ready to invest the money received in a new superstar. The priority names are Neymar, Eden Hazard, and Mohamed Salah.
Marca also points out that Real will finally strengthen the goalkeeper position - they aim to acquire Roma's representative Alisson for a sum of 70 million euros. Alisson's arrival would not mean Keylor Navas' departure - both goalkeepers would compete for playing minutes next season.
Zinedine Zidane also wants a new right-back. It is said that this could be Alvaro Odriozola, who is Dani Carvajal's backup and represents Spain. His buyout clause with Real Sociedad is set at 40 million euros.
Real is also considering the center-back position, as Raphael Varane and Jesus Vallejo do not have the best injury history. They are eyeing Atletico Madrid's defender Jose Gimenez, who has a buyout amount of 65 million euros. The club is also keeping an eye on Milan Skriniar (Inter) and Alessio Romagnoli (Milan).
The Madrid team is not ruling out the possibility of bringing back the striker Mariano Diaz from Lyon, who caused trouble for them in France. However, the striker's situation will be postponed at least until the end of the World Cup, as Real promises to carefully monitor players during this period of competitions.
Marca mentions that during the friendly national team games this summer, their great club hope Vinicius Junior will have the opportunity to train with the team. Currently, he is the top scorer in the Brazilian league.
Among the candidates to leave the team, a group of young players is named - Marcos Llorente, Achraf Hakimi, Borja Mayoral, and Dani Ceballos, but they will only bid farewell to them at the end of the season.
