Madrid's "Real" team did not welcome the New Year in the most pleasant way - Marcos Llorente will have to miss several weeks of games due to injury.
The 23-year-old footballer made a huge leap this season and played in the starting lineup in all the last nine matches. He even opened his goal account by scoring in the FIFA Club World Cup final.
M. Llorente had replaced the injured Casemiro in the midfield, but now the midfielder himself has encountered problems, which will force him to miss a crucial part of the season.
"Real" will already face "Villarreal" tomorrow. In the next two weeks, the "whites" will have to play five matches - three in the Spanish league and two in the King's Cup.
