"Real" Madrid beats "Levante" thanks to 11 penalty kicks

On Sunday evening, the last 25th round matches of the Spanish La Liga championship were played.

At home, Valencia's Levante fiercely faced Real Madrid. Two penalty kicks, one of which caused a lot of doubt, decided the victory of the "white" team away.

In the 43rd minute, Karim Benzema put the visitors ahead by scoring the first penalty kick. However, Levante, showing character throughout the match, equalized in the 60th minute after a great attack.

Levante later created several dangerous opportunities, but in the 78th minute, Real Madrid received another penalty kick when Casemiro was dangerously challenged by the opponents' defender in the penalty area.

From the video replay, it was hard to see any contact, but the referee, after consulting with the VAR team, awarded a penalty to Levante's goal. Gareth Bale, who replaced K. Benzema in the penalty area, scored the shot himself and led Real Madrid to a hard-fought victory.

At the end of the match, Levante gained a quantitative advantage when Nacho received his second yellow card. However, the hosts no longer posed a threat during the remaining time.

Real Madrid remains in third place with 48 points. Levante is in 13th place.
