Two Madrid "Real" fans have started legal proceedings against the team's president Florentino Perez for being expelled from the "Copa Del Rey" tournament.
"Real" was expelled from the Spanish Cup for allowing the suspended Denis Cheryshev onto the field, who was supposed to miss the game due to yellow card penalties from the previous year's tournament. "Cadiz" lodged a protest, and later "Real" was eliminated from further competition.
According to the fans who filed the statement, they became the objects of ridicule because of the team's expulsion from the Spanish Cup and now they seek to claim moral damages.
"Because of this, we had to endure mockery in cafes and at work. It caused us a lot of pain and made us feel hopeless," - Spanish supporters spoke about the reasons behind such actions.
