Real Madrid was ready to pay 214 million euros for K. Mbappe

About the fact that Kylian Mbappe received an offer from Real Madrid before leaving Monaco was known from the very beginning. According to "Football Leaks" data, K. Mbappe himself declined the offer to move to Real Madrid. The "White" team was willing to pay a total of 214 million euros for the French football diamond in the summer of 2017 - 180 million for the transfer itself and the remaining part depending on the player's performance. The same offer was made at that time by PSG. Monaco, of course, not wanting to sell their player to their main competitors, had already accepted Real's offer, but the word of the player and his representatives was decisive here. It is believed that the financial possibilities, which Real Madrid did not provide, contributed significantly to Mbappe's decision. It is revealed that PSG agreed to the player's request to pay him a sum of 5 million euros for the first two seasons for signing a contract with the Parisian club. In the "Football Leaks" documents, it is also written that K. Mbappe set a condition that in the future, winning the "Ballon d'Or", his salary would be increased to 30 million euros per year (now - 10 million euros after tax deductions). However, PSG did not agree to such conditions and if the player won this award, an additional amount of 500 thousand euros would be added to his current salary. So, before arriving in Paris, Kylian Mbappe set three conditions for the club - to pay him a salary of 55 million euros over five years, to provide the opportunity to fly on a private plane for free, and to become the highest-paid player in the team if he wins the "Golden Ball".
