Enjoying the European Under-21 Championship, Dani Ceballos will not play for Real Madrid next season.
The 22-year-old midfielder, still considered a huge talent, has recently been actively linked with AC Milan, but sources reveal that if Real Madrid decides to part ways with the player, Tottenham Hotspur is the favorite to acquire him.
Spanish national team journalist Sergio Santos points out that there are differences of opinion within the Real Madrid management and Zinedine Zidane regarding D. Ceballos.
It is known that D. Ceballos was acquired in 2017 without much involvement from Zidane, but now the Frenchman's word is crucial in transfers.
According to reports, Real Madrid values the midfielder and believes in his talent, so they want to loan out or sell D. Ceballos with a buy-back option.
However, Zidane has stated that he does not see the player in his plans and wants to sell him without any additional conditions.
If Zidane's opinion prevails, Real Madrid will demand at least 50 million euros for the player. They are not willing to listen to offers of lower value unless favorable conditions for them are included in the deal.
