Recently celebrated his 18th birthday, Brazilian football diamond Vinicius Junior will never forget July 20th - Real Madrid introduced him as the new player of the club.
V. Junior was acquired by Real's team just last May - then the European champions did not hesitate to spend 45 million euros for the 16-year-old prodigy. It seems that with this transfer Florentino Perez did not go wrong - the Brazilian became a true star of his country in just a year and now his price would probably be even higher.
The young footballer arrived in Madrid last Friday. He trained with the team all week and today was officially presented at the "Santiago Bernabeu" stadium.
"This is the best thing a footballer can experience in his career. I have the opportunity to reach the highest point in football at the age of 18 - to come to Real. I know it won't be easy, but I am ready to put in a lot of work so as not to disappoint myself or the club," Vinicius said during his presentation.
The footballer revealed at the press conference that he will not be loaned out to any European club this season - Real will most likely send him to the "Castilla" team, but the Brazilian himself has been promised some minutes with the first team.
V. Junior caught Madrid's attention not by chance a year ago - he is considered one of the most promising players in the world. The Brazilian is known for his explosive power and excellent technical skills.
