"Real" performance in the King's Cup - ended in the quarter-finals (VIDEO)

On Wednesday evening in Spain, two second-leg King's Cup quarter-final matches were played.

The most interesting match took place in the city of Vigo, where "Celta" supported by their fans tried to resist against Madrid's "Real". In the first meeting, the unexpected defeat suffered by the "white" team in an away game did not achieve the required result and ended their performance in the King's Cup after a draw.

"Real" started the match with a decimated lineup - key players such as Luka Modric, Dani Carvajal, Marcelo, Gareth Bale and others were out due to injuries.

From the beginning of the match, the visitors from Madrid played more aggressively than the opponents, as after losing the first match they needed at least two goals.

In the first half, Cristiano Ronaldo had the chance to put the visitors in front, but hit the crossbar, and at the end of the half they were punished - after a shot by John Guidetti, deflected by Kiko Casilla, Danilo unexpectedly scored an own goal.

In the second half, C. Ronaldo restored the chances of reaching the semi-finals by converting a great penalty in the 62nd minute. Later, Sergio Ramos had the chance to put the visitors in front, but the Spaniard did not send the ball into the goal area from a grateful position.

In the 85th minute, the opponents triumphed - after a gap in the "Real" defense, Daniel Wass scored a goal that finally buried the chances of the team from the Spanish capital to advance to the next stage.

In the 90th minute, Lucas Vazquez brought back some intrigue for a few minutes, equalizing the score, but "Real" needed one more goal, and during the remaining added time, they did not create any more serious chances.

"Celta" defeated Zinedine Zidane's pupils with an overall score of 4-3 and along with Madrid's "Atletico", who played a draw in the previous match 2-2 (overall result 5-2), advanced to the semi-finals.
