"Real" prepares to pamper C.Ronaldo with a highly profitable contract

Madrid's "Real" and striker Cristiano Ronaldo's wishes coincided - both sides want to extend the contract and will soon be ready to put pen to paper. "Sport" reports that initially the royal team wanted to offer a shorter contract, but the upcoming FIFA ban on buying new players changed Florentino Perez's plans. According to the new five-year contract, the Portuguese player will receive a total of 115 million euros "net" - 23 million euros per year. The 31-year-old sniper will only be surpassed by "Barcelona" leader Lionel Messi. The current contract between C. Ronaldo and "Real" is valid until the summer of 2018.
