On Thursday evening, all the matches of the 37th round of Spain's "La Liga" championship were played, after which the new country champions were revealed. After a three-year break, the Madrid "Real" football players regained the trophies at home by defeating "Villarreal" 2-1 and becoming unbeatable. Karim Benzema scored the first goal of the match in the 27th minute. The same Frenchman converted a penalty in the 77th minute, doubling "Real's" advantage. Vicente Iborra scored a consolation goal for the visitors in the 84th minute. "Real" sent the ball into the goal again in extra time, but Marco Asensio's goal was canceled after VAR review. This is the 34th Spanish champions title for the Royal club in history.
