On Saturday in Spain, four matches of the 21st round of the "La Liga" were played.
The "Mestalla" stadium hosted a highly anticipated match - two neighboring teams faced off. Madrid's "Real" team, who had an emotional match, finally ended their winless streak at the Valencia stadium and celebrated a victory with a score of 4-1.
"Valencia" was determined to fight only for victory and put pressure on their opponents from the very first minutes. However, "Valencia" was hindered by their own player - Martin Montoya earned two penalty kicks.
In the 16th minute, Cristiano Ronaldo converted the first penalty kick, and he added another goal from the penalty spot in the 38th minute.
However, "Valencia" did not give up and in the second half, they completely pressed the visitors, who lost the ball one after another in front of their goal and in the midfield.
In the 58th minute, Santi Mina woke up the entire team - during a poorly defended set piece, "Real" conceded a goal with a header. The "Mestalla" stadium created an atmosphere in which it was even harder for the visitors from Madrid to play.
"Valencia" continued to put pressure on "Real", but the hosts gradually ran out of strength, and "Real" started to play more confidently with the ball. In the 84th minute, Marcelo punished the hosts severely - the Brazilian player, who combined with Marco Asensio, sent a third goal into the hosts' net with a great shot.
The final point was set in the 89th minute - the "Real" team, which executed a beautiful attack with an amazing pass from Mateo Kovacic, scored the fourth goal, with Toni Kroos as the goal scorer.
"Real" achieved their second consecutive victory, but they still remain in fourth place, however, having played fewer matches than "Valencia" so a victory would leave "Valencia" behind them.
In other matches, "Levante" managed to equalize against "Deportivo", "Malaga" and "Girona" ended in a goalless draw, while "Villarreal" sent four goals on the path of "Real Sociedad", who are struggling to return to victories.
