Madrid's "Real" has almost gone the entire season without their injured goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, but he has been successfully replaced by Ukrainian Andriy Lunin.
The 25-year-old goalkeeper's performance has convinced the leaders of the "royal" club, who are preparing a new contract for the Ukrainian, reports Fabrizio Romano.
Currently, the footballer's contract is valid until the summer of 2025, but "Real" already wants to extend this term.
However, it is not clear whether the team will want to stay and reconcile with the role of the second goalkeeper, as Andriy Lunin has raised his stakes this season.
