The last matches of the 31st round of the Spanish "La Liga" championship were played.
In San Sebastian, "Real Sociedad" hosted the team of "Sporting Gijon". The Basques ended a series of four consecutive failures and defeated their opponents with a score of 3-1.
In the 3rd minute, Willian Jose put "La Real" ahead, and Juanmi increased the lead to two goals in the 27th minute. In the 77th minute, Yuri Berchiche started to crush the opponents, but the visitors managed to score a consolation goal towards the end of the match.
"Real Sociedad" recorded their 16th victory in the Spanish championship and moved up to the 8th position. "Sporting Gijon" remains in 18th place.
