"Real Sociedad" finished the season in Spain with a victory over "Valencia" (VIDEO)

On Friday evening, the first match of the last 38th round of the Spanish "Primera" championship took place.

The last match of the season was played between "Valencia" and "Real Sociedad" from San Sebastian. Without making any shots on goal, the "bats" finished the season at home with a minimal loss against the Basques.

Both teams evenly controlled the ball throughout the match, but the guests from San Sebastian were more dangerous in finishing their attacks. Valencia's goalkeeper Jaume Domenech had to fend off seven out of the 14 opponent's shots on goal.

As the match approached its end, it seemed like it would finish without any goals. However, in added time, "Real Sociedad" forward Mikel Oyarzabal accurately sent the ball into the opponent's net and brought his team the final victory of the season.

After the victory, "Real Sociedad" climbed to the eighth position in the tournament table, but "Malaga" still has the opportunity to push the Basques down to ninth place. After the defeat, "Valencia" remains in 11th place and could even drop to 14th place.
