On Saturday afternoon, in the "La Liga" championship match at home, "Real Sociedad" played a 2:2 draw with "Girona".
"Sociedad" started the match excellently and scored the first two goals. Mikel Oyarzabal scored in the 5th minute, while David Silva added his own goal in the 24th minute.
However, "Girona" players did not give up and managed to equalize the score. Yan Couto and Cristhian Stuani scored goals in the 37th and 45+3 minutes, respectively.
After the match, "Sociedad" still confidently stands in fourth place in the league table. Meanwhile, "Girona" is ranked seventh.
