One of the best safe players of the past decade, Kaka, is returning to the lineup - after five months of recovering from injury, the footballer delighted Madrid fans with impressive ball control technique during an open training session.
"He didn't play for a long time, but he quickly showed why he became the best football player in the world a few years ago. I have no doubt he will help us win many matches," said teammate Pedro Leonas.
In 2009, the Brazilian moved from Milan to Real for an impressive sum of 65 million euros, but due to injuries and other difficulties, he has not been able to shine so far. However, now he intends to start anew.
It is not clear yet whether Kaka will play in Monday's away match against Getafe, or make his debut in Thursday's King's Cup game.
Real's rival Barcelona also gained new strength - despite Carles Puyol's injury, Gerard Pique's suspension, and Lionel Messi's rest, Dutchman Ibrahim Afellay, who was recently acquired, will join the Catalonian team for the first time.
