Leaders of the Spanish "La Liga" championship, Madrid "Real" football players, won another victory on Friday. The Royal club defeated "Alaves" team at home with a score of 2:0 in the 35th round match. The hosts were led forward by Karim Benzema, who scored a penalty kick in the 11th minute. The same Frenchman made an assist in the 50th minute, after which Marco Asensio sent the ball into the goal. Initially, the assistant referee flagged for offside, but after VAR review, the goal was eventually counted. With three rounds left in the season, "Real" has a four-point advantage over "Barcelona."
