"Real" will conclude negotiations on the acquisition of Kepa in the near future.

Madrid's "Real" will soon receive reinforcement in the goalkeeper position.
"Marca" reports that the Spanish champions will pay the buyout clause of 20 million euros specified in the contract of 23-year-old goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga to Bilbao's "Athletic" team.
One of the most promising goalkeepers of the Spanish national team has a valid contract with the Basques until next summer. "Real" could have waited until the end of the season and signed the goalkeeper for a lower price, but did not want to risk the possibility that during the remaining part of the season the player could change his mind and sign a new contract with the Basque club, increasing the buyout clause.
According to the mentioned source, the deal is almost done, and an agreement between the player and "Real" has been reached since December.
Kepa's arrival is likely to mean the departure of the current second goalkeeper of "Real". It is said that Kiko Casilla may leave for England by the end of the season, where "Newcastle" coach Rafael Benitez is waiting for him.
For Kepa himself, the role of the main goalkeeper is not yet planned - he will compete with Keylor Navas, who is currently playing in both the UEFA Champions League and the Spanish league.
