Zinedine Zidane decided to give rest to the key stars of his team before the upcoming La Liga matches in Spain.
Tomorrow, Real Madrid will face Deportivo La Coruna in front of their fans at 21:45 Lithuanian time. The names of Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, and Luka Modric are not mentioned in Zidane's announcement.
The manager confirmed that all three players have been given rest. Additionally, Gareth Bale is also missing from the squad due to injury. This will be the first time this season that Real will play in the Spanish league without any of the players from the BBC trio.
Last week, Real had two very important and exhausting matches - they played against Barcelona in Spain and tested Borussia Dortmund players on Wednesday.
The match against Deportivo in Spain will be the last one this year for the "Whites," as next week they will travel to Japan to compete for the FIFA Club World Cup.
Real Madrid lineup for the match against Deportivo:
Goalkeepers: Navas, Casilla, and Yañez.
Defenders: Carvajal, Pepe, Ramos, Varane, Nacho, Marcelo, and Danilo.
Midfielders: Kroos, James, Casemiro, Kovacic, Asensio, and Isco.
Forwards: Morata, Lucas Vázquez, and Mariano.
