Goal.com announces that Real Madrid has to pay a compensation of 4 million euros to head coach Carlo Ancelotti, who has been dismissed.
Italians' services were rejected after a season that did not bring any of the main trophies, and the new coach will probably be announced next week, with Rafa Benitez likely to take over at Napoli.
According to the coach's contract, in case of dismissal, he will receive half of his annual salary, which amounts to 8 million euros.
Ancelotti himself, despite being linked with a return to Milan, announced yesterday that due to health problems he will take a 12-month break and will not take on any club work during that time.
