"Real" wins the Spanish Super Cup as if playing on wings (VIDEO)

On Tuesday night, football enthusiasts could once again witness the clash of Spanish giants at midnight.

In the return leg of the Spanish Super Cup match, which took place at the "Santiago Bernabeu" stadium, Madrid's "Real" faced off against "Barcelona". Zinedine Zidane's proteges left no hope for their opponents - with a final score of 5-1, they secured their second trophy of the new season.

In the first half, the "whites" showed astonishing power - dominating the entire 45 minutes and not allowing any shots on goal from their opponents.

Already in the 4th minute, the "white" fans witnessed the first goal - from about 30 meters, Marco Asensio's amazing strike gave the hosts the lead.

In the 39th minute, Karim Benzema increased the advantage after a shaky defense play by the Catalans. "Real" gained a crushing lead in the overall series.

In the second half, the Spanish champions showed signs of relaxation in their game, but Barcelona could not capitalize on excellent opportunities to narrow the gap.

The same "Real" threatened Marc-Andre ter Stegen's goal multiple times, but the final result remained 2-0 and the team from the Spanish capital celebrated their first trophy of the season in Spain.

The last time "Real" triumphed in the Spanish Super Cup was in 2012.
