16-year-old Martin Odegaard believes that his place is not in the second team of Real Madrid and he would like to be loaned out in January.
The young Norwegian national team player joined Real in the second half of last season. Odegaard has already managed to debut in the main team, but according to journalist Guillem Balague, he wants to test himself elsewhere.
"We have to be very patient with him, he is only 16 years old," Balague told Sky Sports. "Real wants him to help the second team. They want Castilla to be competitive and make every young player improve."
"Real wants to keep him, although he wants to be loaned out," added one of the most reliable Spanish journalists.
However, earlier Odegaard himself admitted that he is still young and will not rush to leave Castilla, while he described the third Spanish football league as challenging.
