Record bonuses promised to the Lithuanian national team

The players of the Lithuanian national football team will have additional motivation to achieve the best possible results in the World Cup qualifiers.

LFF president Edgaras Stankevičius revealed the future bonus amounts to the portal "Delfi.lt”.

If the Lithuanians manage to defeat Spain/The Netherlands (the opponent will be determined later) and Poland, they would receive a bonus of 40,000 euros, while for a draw, the officials would transfer a sum of 20,000 euros.

Meanwhile, a victory against the modest Maltese team would allow the players to share a bonus of 20,000 euros.

If the Lithuanian national team were to miraculously secure second place in the group, the team would receive an additional monetary bonus.
