"Red Star" advances to the Champions League group stage for the second year in a row

In the last qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League, three decisive matches were played. Three teams have already secured their place in the group stage of the tournament.

For the second year in a row, Belgrade's "Crvena zvezda" made it to the main tournament stage. In this journey, the Serbians had to overcome the barrier of Marijampolė's "Sūduva".

"Crvena zvezda" stood out at home with a 1-1 draw with Switzerland's "Young Boys" and advanced thanks to the away goal rule. The first leg in the opponent's fortress also ended in a draw at 2-2.

In the other matches, Piraeus' "Olympiacos" once again defeated their opponents from Russia and advanced to the group stage. The Greeks beat "Krasnodar" 2-1, who suffered defeat in the first match by a crushing margin of 0-4.

In the last match, Zagreb's "Dinamo" played a draw at 1-1 with "Rosenborg", but still progressed to the next stage as they won the first match with a score of 2-0.
