Released from "AS Roma", J. Pastore signed a contract with "Elche" © Elche

Argentinian Javier Pastore became a free agent on the last days of the transfer window, as "AS Roma" mutually agreed to terminate his contract. Soon after, J. Pastore found himself a new club and will now play in "La Liga" competitions, representing the team of "Elche CF". In Rome, the Argentine played for the last three seasons, but this period was unsuccessful for Javier. In three seasons, he scored only 3 goals in all competitions and provided 1 assist. The best times for J. Pastore were almost a decade ago, when the young Argentine shone in the "Palermo" club, and later the Italian team's leader was acquired by the PSG club for almost 40 million euros. Pastore signed a contract with "Elche" until 2022, for one year. At the moment, this Spanish team is in 15th place in "La Liga" with two points in their account.
