Reliable sources: D. Alves - one step away from moving to Manchester

Reliable sources of football news portal Goal.com reveal that "Manchester City" is close to an agreement with Turin's "Juventus" defender Dani Alves.

The "City" is undergoing major changes this summer, with almost all full-backs leaving the team in search of four players for this position.

The current team's coach, Pep Guardiola, has been in charge of the Brazilian for a long time in the ranks of "Barcelona" and singled him out as a target back in April.

However, the first names on the "Man City" wish list are Benjamin Mendy from "Monaco" and London's "Tottenham" representative Kyle Walker, but the club's director, Txiki Begiristain, has not yet been able to finalize any of these deals.

This was supposed to be done before acquiring Alves, but now it seems that the Brazilian will become the third "City" newcomer after Bernardo Silva and Ederson.

However, this does not mean that Mendy and Walker will not join the team - sources inside the club reveal that an agreement on these transfers will eventually be reached, and their representatives are also working to attract "Southampton" member Ryan Bertrand.

"Monaco" and "Tottenham" are not willing to easily part with their stars and want to earn as much money as possible, but "Juventus" is willing to sell 34-year-old veteran Alves for a symbolic sum. He is also eager to work with Guardiola again, so the personal contract terms will be agreed upon in an instant.

A little premature in his farewell to his team-mate on social media, "bianconeri" striker Gonzalo Higuain posted and then deleted a video message he posted to Dani Alves - was it hello or goodbye?
