Reliable Sources: K. Benzema Agrees to Move to "Milan"

At Madrid's "Real" club, the impressive 2009 summer transfer window era may end - Cristiano Ronaldo's longtime attacking partner Karim Benzema may join him in Italy.

Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reports that "Milan" club's general director Adriano Galliani met with the 30-year-old striker's representatives and received permission to make an offer to Madrid's "Real" team.

It is said that Gennaro Gattuso personally spoke with K. Benzema and indicated that he would agree to join their team. "Rossoneri" would be willing to pay the Frenchman the same salary he receives in Madrid - 9 million euros per year.

Upon hearing such reports, one of K. Benzema's representatives laughed on social media, but the same Di Marzio wrote that the agent does so out of anger because the footballer trusted another representative to speak with the "Milan" club.

If the news of K. Benzema's agreement to move proves true, the "Milan" team will only have to wait for one thing - to assess the amount that "Real" will ask for the Frenchman. The relationship between the two clubs is warm, so this could be one of the reasons for successful negotiations.

During nine years at "Real" club, K. Benzema has played 413 matches and scored almost 200 goals.
