Repeating the Story of Raphinho? "Barca" from "Chelsea" Misses Out on Trying to Snag J. Kounde © ZUMAPRESS com.

„Barcelona“ and „Chelsea“ are going head to head in the battle for another player in this transfer window. In recent days, it seemed that „Chelsea“ was very close to acquiring Jules Kounde, as confirmed by Fabrizio Romano and Thomas Tuchel's interview, but in the final seconds „Barcelona“ is taking action. Gerard Romero reports that „Barcelona“ has almost reached an agreement with „Sevilla“ for the acquisition of J. Kounde. F. Romano, summarizing the situation, states that the Catalans will simply try to steal the Frenchman from the "aristocrats", but it is unclear if they will succeed.  The transfer fee should be around 50 million pounds. As previously reported, the Sevilla team would prefer to sell their center-back to the „Chelsea“ team rather than direct competitors in Spain. J. Kounde himself does not have a clear favorite between these two teams, whereas Raphinha, who moved to „Barcelona“, only had one choice in his mind.
