One of the most important players of "Stuttgart" Hiroki Ito this winter could have moved to Saudi Arabia, but the answer was clear.
According to "Transfermarkt", "Al Nassr" activated a 30 million euro buyout clause, which is in H. Ito's contract with the German club.
Activating the buyout clause, the Saudi club offered the Japanese player a 9 million euro annual salary. This is more than 3 times higher salary than he earns at "Stuttgart" club (2.5 million).
However, K. Ito was not convinced and ultimately rejected the offer to move to the strongest Saudi Arabian league.
After recovering from the injury, the left-back is currently helping the Japan national team in the Asian Cup.
