The internal conflicts of Paris Saint-Germain spiraled out of control. After Neymar and Edison Cavani failed to share the ball for an 11-meter penalty kick and Dani Alves intervened to take the free kick from which he wanted to retrieve the ball, everything was loudly discussed in the press.
Former Uruguayan national team footballer Diego Forlan stood up for his compatriot and stated that Neymar and D. Alves acted like little boys by taking the ball from their teammate.
However, D. Alves did not appreciate these comments, and on his official Twitter account, the Brazilian shared a message addressed to the Uruguayan:
"I don't know what game you watched, but I didn't take the ball from my teammate, they took it from me. And for your information, the last PSG goal from a free kick was mine. So shut your mouth and stop using my name for controversy," the defender harshly replied.
PSG coach Unai Emery revealed that D. Alves tried to mend the situation by organizing a team dinner.
