On Saturday evening in Italy, there was a clash between two contenders for the championship title - "Napoli" hosted defending champion club "Juventus" at home.
After fourteen rounds, Maurizio Sarri's side still hadn't suffered a defeat and comfortably led the league table, while "bianconeri" were in third place.
However, although the positions of the teams may not change over the weekend, the reality was slightly different at the start of the first half. The visitors started the match better, and in the 13th minute, they launched a great counterattack in which Paulo Dybala provided an assist to former "Napoli" striker Gonzalo Higuain.
After this episode, the leaders of the league table took the initiative, and Lorenzo Insigne came close to equalizing the score, but his header was saved by Gianluigi Buffon.
In the second half, the situation remained similar - both Insigne and Jose Callejon had chances to score, but "Juventus" held on and, thanks to Higuain, secured a very important victory.
After that, Massimiliano Allegri's team temporarily surpassed Milan's "Inter" in the standings, who could climb to the first position over the weekend.
Result:
"Napoli" 0 - 1 "Juventus" [0-1] 13' Gonzalo Higuain
