After 36 years of waiting, Argentina, who won the World Champions title, dominated the FIFA Best Player-Coach voting.
The best coach of 2022 was Argentina's head coach Lionel Scaloni.
Under L. Scaloni's leadership, "Albiceleste" triumphed in the "Copa America" tournament in 2021, won the "Finalissima" trophies in the summer of 2022, and became the strongest national team in the world at the end of the year in the world championships.
Carlo Ancelotti and Pep Guardiola were also contenders for this prize.
The Women's Football Coach of the Year was England's coach Sarina Wiegman.
