“The Athletic” revealed an interesting fact after the news of Solskjaer's era being extended in Manchester – “Man Utd” officials held talks with Marco Silva.

According to the English newspaper, the new Manchester club leaders spoke with the Fulham strategist even before the FA Cup final.

In the FA Cup final, “Manchester United” won 2:1 against “Manchester City” and this partly secured Solskjaer's job.
