According to journalist Matteo Moretto, the German had previously incurred the displeasure of Chelsea owner Todd Boehly when he refused to accept Cristiano Ronaldo, a forward from "Man Utd" into the team, even though the American had already agreed on all the transfer details. Instead of the Portuguese, T. Tuchel invited "Barcelona" representative Pierre Aubameyang.
