Revealed top European football academies

CIES Football Observatory has announced the 15 most productive football academies in Europe. The ranking was based on the number of players from each academy who are currently playing in the top five European leagues - Spain, England, Germany, Italy, and France. CIES emphasizes that only players who spent at least three seasons in one team academy between the ages of 15 and 21 made it to the ranking. The first position went to the European champions Madrid "Real". The main team currently includes academy graduates such as Dani Carvajal, Nacho, Lucas Vazquez, and others. Many players who came up through the ranks at Real Madrid easily find their way to the camp of famous European clubs afterwards. In total, Real Madrid has trained 36 players who are currently playing in the five most powerful continental championships. In second place is the French team "Lyon", which has produced 35 players. In third place with 34 academy graduates is "Barcelona". Full list: 1. Madrid "Real" (36 academy graduates, playing in TOP 5 leagues) 2. "Lyon" (35) 3. "Barcelona" (34) 4. Bilbao "Athletic" (26) 5-7.
