Review of the 7th round of the Women's League

Last weekend, the 7th round of matches of the women's I league of "Topo centras Euronics" took place. The capital's team showed great productivity during this round.

The tour started with a convincing victory of MFA "Žalgiris" - MRU team 8:0 against FK Vilkija. Austėja Petkevičiūtė immediately demonstrated her hat-trick skills, Justina Blaževičiūtė added two goals to her individual tally, while Milda Ivanciūtė, Monika Suščinskytė, and Radvilė Kelečiūtė scored one goal each.

With an identical result of 8:0, but playing away, the representatives of FK Žalgiris achieved victory. Kamilė Medvedeva scored a hat-trick at the stadium in Kėdainiai, while Aneta Chvoinicka scored a brace. Among the scorers were also Marta Lipnickaitė, Paula Saulėnaitė, and Elzė Kiškūnaitė.

In the second place of the tournament table remained the "Gintra" B team, who managed to secure a victory in Utena after Agnieška Kazarina's late goal - 1:0.

The "Hegelmann" B team climbed to fifth place by defeating Telšiai representatives with a result of 3:0 in Kaunas. Ema Kriaučiūnaitė scored two goals for "Džiugas" in the first half, and Ema Busevičiūtė added another goal later.

The match between "Bičių" and "Babrungo" in the capital city unfolded dramatically. Emilija Grauslytė put the girls from Plungė in the lead in the first half, but in the second half, MFA "Bitės" took control of the game. The result turned with a hat-trick by Agata Marija Kairytė and a goal from Goda Smailytė, while Sigita Mačiulskienė increased the difference. The victory 4:2 allowed the young girls from Vilnius to climb to eighth place.

The matches scheduled for Friday in Vilkaviškis between "Šešupė" and "Saned" B teams did not take place as the visiting team did not arrive, so the outcome of the match will be decided by the Disciplinary Committee.

In June, the teams will play the matches of the eighth round, after which there will be a break in the championship.
