Review of the Girls Elite League (Week 2)

This week only U15 division matches were played, assigned to the first and second round.

MFA "Žalgiris"-MRU and FC "Hegelmann" teams started their season with productive victories. The Vilnius girls surpassed the Ukmergė team, while the Kaunas district representatives defeated the "Kauno Žalgiris" FA peers with five goals unanswered. Grytė Vaisbrodė, Elena Ostrauskaitė, Aleksandra Vabolytė, and Atėnė Senkutė marked the first round with individual "doubles."

This Saturday, two out of three teams playing away managed to secure victories. Led by Aleksandra Vabolytė's double, FC "Hegelmann" triumphed over the Klaipėda team after a tough battle. Andrėja Tamošauskaitė's impressive 6-goal performance was immortalized in Kaunas, where the Gargždai team achieved a convincing victory.

Only one goal was scored in the capital city derby - the author Grytė Vaisbrodė gave the MFA "Žalgiris"-MRU team a victory over MFA "Bites."

MEL U15 1st round results: MFA Žalgiris-MRU 5:1 Ukmergės SC, FC Hegelmann 5:0 Kauno Žalgirio FA.

MEL U15 2nd round results: Klaipėdos FM 1:2 FC Hegelmann, MFA Žalgiris-MRU 1:0 MFA Bitės, Kauno Žalgirio FA 0:7 FK Banga.
