Draw in the derby. The capital teams fighting for the prize places could not determine the winner. Evaluating the match, the Zalgiris players played one of the worst games of the season, but that did not stop them from creating chances. In the end, it was not enough.

Despite the intense game, the players did not have time to breathe when the first goal fell. The Vilnius team dropped the ball over 50 meters and Irina Topal raced past the opponents and scored the opening goal.

Zalgiris players did not give up and took control of the game. The score was leveled in the middle of the first half when "Vilnius" goalkeeper Aušra Klevečkaitė was helpless after a counterattack.

After the break, the Zalgiris-MRU players stepped up their game, and a few minutes later Laura Ruzgutė scored from a perfect pass from the left flank.

As the match approached its end, Mia Leneice Darden had her say. Overcoming the Zalgiris defenders and goalkeeper, Vilnius' most productive player delayed her shot slightly but still confidently sent the ball into the net.

In the remaining time, M. L. Darden could have scored another goal, but she received her second yellow card during added time and was sent off.

Change of coaches. After the loss to Hegelmann, the Vilnius club announced that they mutually agreed to part ways with coach Vytautas Masaitis. Whether this was the right decision will be shown in the future, but we can already state the fact that without M. L. Darden, the Vilnius team lacks players capable of scoring frequently. Let us remind you that Mia received a red card in the match a few days ago and was suspended for several matches.

Hegelmann had not yet beaten the Vilnius team this season, but they started the match as the frontrunner. As events later showed, they were right. The goal came after just ten minutes, scored by Klaudija Savickaitė, who pounced on a ball misplayed by Aušra Klevečkaitė.

The Kaunas team had more chances to extend their lead, with the best opportunity falling to K. Savickaitė, who broke away towards the opponents' goalkeeper but lacked the strength to finish the shot.

These matches in Vilnius were undoubtedly one of the worst, if not the worst, of the entire 2023 season.

22-minute show. Gintaras' legionnaires Juliet Bassey, Juliet Sunday, and Abigail Sunday scored four goals in the first 38 minutes of the first half, securing another victory for their team. At the end of the first half, the Šiauliai coach made a triple substitution, showing that he did not believe Banga could make a comeback.

The first goal came in the 15th minute when J. Bassey positioned herself in the opponents' penalty area so well that she only had to score into the empty net.

A few minutes later, J. Sunday launched an attack, only having to beat one opponent defender to face the goalkeeper. This task was not difficult for the leader of Gintara's attacks.

The third goal came when the Banga goalkeeper hesitated to leave the goal or not, and the fourth – as a result of a defensive error, J. Bassey scored. After 38 minutes, all questions were essentially answered.

Eleven goals. After unsuccessful matches against "Vilnius," Zalgiris-MRU players decided to take out all their anger on the "Saned" players. The anger was poured out in such a way that seven goals were scored before halftime, and four more by midway through the second half. At the end, a lower gear was activated, and the lead did not increase.

The main star of this match was Julien Ramirez, who opened the scoring in the 27th second and scored five goals in total. Also, Aristelle Luise Yog Atouth recorded a hat-trick and became the league's top scorer with 12 goals.

MFA Žalgiris-MRU equaled points with FK Gintra – both teams now have 29 points, but Zalgiris has a better goal difference in the league.
