UEFA (European Football Association) may lose another player.
The national teams of the Middle East countries pressured FIFA with letters to expel Israel from international football. The reason, of course, is the military conflict between Israel and Palestine that began on October 7.
Israel plays in the UEFA system and even seriously aims to qualify for the European Championship. It is not yet clear where this uprising may lead.
Two national teams from the Middle East, Qatar and Jordan, will meet in the final of the Asian Cup.
Due to terrorism in Ukraine, the Russian national team was previously expelled from UEFA.
