"Atletico" leader from Colombia Radamel Falcao has set a condition for the London clubs "Chelsea" and "Manchester United" – a weekly salary of 290 thousand euros (1 million litas).
As reported by goal.com, the 27-year-old forward is also interested in the "Paris Saint Germain" club, but the Colombian has previously stated that he would like to play in the English "Premier" league.
Next in line for R.Falcao's acquisition is the Madrid "Real" club, and the forward's agent Jorge Mendes also represents "Los Blancos" coach Jose Mourinho. However, "Atletico" is not very willing to hand over their star player to their biggest rivals.
During the winter transfer window, the "Chelsea" club was willing to pay 60 million euros for R.Falcao, but the forward wanted to finish the season in Spain. The Colombian is a personal target of Roman Abramovich, but it should not be forgotten that the club would probably have to give up the Spaniard Fernando Torres, who cost 50 million euros.
In addition to the "Blues", in order to attract R.Falcao, it is also necessary to secure a place in next year's UEFA Champions League tournament.
The "Manchester City" club, in order to acquire R.Falcao, will probably also sell one of the forwards – most likely either Edin Dzeko or Carlos Tevez.
Currently, in the "Premier" league, the duo of "Manchester United" earn the most – Robin van Persie and Wayne Rooney. Together, they earn a total of around 290 million euros per week.
R.Falcao moved to Europe from Buenos Aires' "River Plate" in 2009 and formed a deadly duo with Hulk after moving to "Porto" before the winter transfer to "Zenit" in St. Petersburg.
The forward played for the Portuguese champions for two years and scored 72 goals in 86 matches, before moving to "Atletico" for 40 million euros in the summer of 2011. In Madrid, R.Falcao continues to shine – he has already scored 63 goals in 78 matches."
