"Monaco" club striker Radamel Falcao expressed his desire to stay within the team as the upcoming season approaches.
The Colombian national team footballer, who missed the World Cup due to injury, was linked this summer with a move to Madrid's "Real" team, but the Colombian is not considering the move.
"I want to stay at "Monaco" club. I believe in this project and I want to compete in the Champions League with the team", - said the 28-year-old striker.
The player is also convinced that the "Monaco" team will be strengthened by several newcomers in order to compete in the elite continental tournament.
"We will strengthen the team to be able to compete in the Champions League".
R.Falcao moved to "Monaco" just last summer, when 60 million euros was paid for him to Madrid's "Atletico" team.
However, the team may soon be left by former teammate of R.Falcao in the "Porto" team, James Rodriguez, who is already considering a move to Madrid's "Real" team.
